When submitting a claim form to the court under the European Small Claims Procedure, a court/state fee must be paid as determined by the member state.

In Latvia, the state fee for the European Small Claims Procedure is set according to the Civil Procedure Law and depends on the claim amount:

• Up to €2,134 – 15% of the claim amount, but not less than €70.
• From €2,135 to €7,114 – €320 plus 4% of the amount exceeding €2,134.
